Coffee – Choosing the Perfect K Cup Coffee

Steaming hot coffee drank in the morning sounds not only good but also comforting. But drinking iced coffee on a hot summer afternoon is refreshing. The question is, what coffee maker can best make iced coffee?

Actually, you can use your existing coffee brewer. You can brew your favourite coffee and just wait till it cools down or just add ice to it. The cooling process may take quite some time though and not a good idea if you are using thermal carafe.

Your best option is to buy an iced tea brewer. Instead of making iced tea, you can make iced coffee instead. This way, you already have instantly cool coffee. Just add more ice and your refreshment is complete in no time at all.

The following are some of the most affordable iced tea makers you can use:

Hamilton Beach 40911 2-Quart Electric Iced Tea Brewer

This brewer from Hamilton costs just under . For that price, you can get a machine that can make iced tea or coffee, is compact enough to fit in your refrigerator and one that you can easily clean. Also, it comes with varying coffee strengths for those who want to tweak their coffee settings.

Oster BVST-TM23 2-1/2 Quart Iced Tea Brewer

For a little under , you will get a full sized machine that has simple and convenient automated features. It also has adjustable brew strength so you can make iced coffee to your preferred flavour. It is also easy to clean with its dishwasher-safe parts.

Dark Coffee Blends
Dark roasted coffee is simply for those who desire to drink a rich and robust cup of coffee. Emeril’s Big Easy Bold, portraying a Parisian roast is a dark, organic blend from the French Quarter Roast. The dark roast consists of rich, smoky and earthy flavors such as the Tiger Bold, Jet Fuel, Dark Magic and Double Black Diamond brews just to name a few.

Another large machine to consider is the Westbend Commercial Urn 33600. The Urn is ideal for a larger number of guests as it can serve up to 100 cups of coffee and is UL listed for commercial use.

The Westbend shares similar features as the other two machines mentioned including heat resistant handles, coffee level gauge and water indicators.

It also shares the one-cup-a minute feature of the Hamilton. Unlike the Delonghi and the Hamilton, however, the Westbend Urn is made of highly polished aluminum, has a two way dripless faucet, and a twist lock cover.

So, which one is better? Personally, I would go for the bigger name, in this case, Delonghi. The reason being that for the bigger brands, you would have an easier time looking for servicing and spare parts
